OnePlus will be the world’s first to launch the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chip, a flagship processor created by MediaTek, which will compete with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen4.
This time, OnePlus will sell the Dimensity 9400e model both domestically and overseas. The domestic version is named OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition, and the overseas version is named OnePlus Nord 5.
It is reported that the Dimensity 9400e consists of 4 super cores and 4 large cores, among which the super core is Cortex-X4 and the large core is Cortex-A720. After testing, the Dimensity 9400e runs Aztec 1440p with a score of about 95fps, and its comprehensive strength will exceed Snapdragon 8s Gen4.
In addition, the Dimensity 9400e is manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process and is an upgraded version of the Dimensity 9300+. In MediaTek’s product series, the performance of the Dimensity 9400e is between the Dimensity 9400 and the Dimensity 9300+.
It is worth noting that in addition to launching the Ace 5 Racing Edition this month, OnePlus will also release a Dimensity 9400+ model, named OnePlus Ace 5 Extreme Edition. Both phones will focus on gaming experience and are worth looking forward to.
