Realme RMX5090 first exposed: periscope telephoto feature cancelled

Realme GT7 Pro is one of the new flagships with the highest overall quality-price ratio. It has Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition, high-end screen, periscope telephoto, etc. for less than 4,000 yuan.

However, for some users who do not have high demands for taking photos, the periscope telephoto function is actually a burden. If it can be cancelled, the price will be more attractive.

According to Digital Chat Station, Realme has indeed planned such a model, model number “RMX5090”.

Compared with GT7 Pro, this phone mainly eliminates the periscope telephoto lens, and the corresponding weight is also reduced, while other configurations remain basically the same.

However, it is not yet certain whether the 3D ultrasonic fingerprint and 120W fast charging on the GT7 Pro will be cancelled.

According to the model planning, the phone may be officially named realme GT7, and the final price may be around 3299, making it the cheapest Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition.

Other configurations are fully in line with GT7 Pro, with a 6.78-inch equal-depth four-micro-curved screen, a resolution of 2780×1264, a refresh rate of 1-120Hz, hardware-level full-brightness DC dimming, green field AI eye protection, support for 10-bit color depth, etc.

It has a built-in 6500mAh Titan battery and weighs 218g, which is slightly lighter than the GT7 Pro’s 222.8g.
