Redmi K80 Extreme Edition to increase in price: 2599 yuan era ends

It is reported that the starting price of REDMI K60 Extreme Edition and K70 Extreme Edition models are both 2,599 yuan. If the price of K80 Extreme Edition increases, it will start at at least 2,699 yuan.

The phone will be equipped with the Dimensity 9400+ platform. This chip uses TSMC’s second-generation 3nm process. The CPU architecture continues the innovative full-core design (1+3+4), including 1 Cortex-X925 super core with a main frequency of 3.7GHz, 3 Cortex-X4 large cores with a main frequency of 3.3GHz and 4 Cortex-A720 large cores with a main frequency of 2.4GHz.

In addition, the REDMI K80 Extreme Edition is equipped with a 6.8-inch 1.5K LTPS straight screen, a visual four-sided design, a metal middle frame, a circular camera DECO in the upper left corner of the back, a battery capacity between 7400-7500mAh, and supports 100-watt wired flash charging.

Compared with the previous generation K70 Extreme Edition, the screen, performance and battery of the K80 Extreme Edition have been significantly upgraded, especially the battery capacity, which is nearly 2000mAh more than the K70 Extreme Edition, making it the flagship model with the largest battery in the history of the REDMI K series.
