Huawei will bring a device that uses tandem OLED for the first time, with a brightness of 2000 nits.
The device is said to be the Huawei MatePad Pro 12, which will have the best display ever.
It is reported that tandem OLED has been commercialized on Apple iPad Pro 2024, and has obvious improvements in many aspects compared to traditional OLED panels.
Specifically, compared with traditional OLED panels, tandem OLED panels achieve high brightness by superimposing light-emitting layers, which allows the driving elements and power supply circuits to be simplified during the design process, ultimately achieving higher brightness and longer service life while reducing power consumption.
Compared with traditional OLED, tandem OLED is combined with special stacking technology. When displaying content with the same brightness, tandem OLED has higher efficiency and power consumption is significantly reduced.
Due to the high cost, there are not many devices that currently use tandem OLED. In addition to the new iPad Pro, Honor Magic6 RSR Porsche Design also uses a tandem OLED design. Huawei’s new products are worth looking forward to.
