Sony’s next-generation Xperia flagship phone has been revealed! Three models in total

Sony’s Xperia mobile phone market share has been relatively weak in recent years, Sony has previously made it clear at its financial report meeting that the company will continue to operate its smartphone business and has no intention of abandoning the Xperia brand.

With the release of Qualcomm’s latest fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition chip, Sony has also confirmed that it will use this chip to launch a new flagship phone.

It is reported that three unreleased Sony phone models appeared in the operator’s eSIM phone support database, namely PM-1521-BV, PM-1522-BV and PM-1523-BV.

Considering that Sony’s current flagship model Xperia 1 VII is PM-1500-BV, it is generally speculated that these three new models are the new generation flagship series Xperia 1 VIII.

However, some analysts believe that these three models may not represent three different mobile phones, but are just versions of the same Xperia 1 VIII flagship model derived to meet the telecommunications requirements of different countries and regions.

Sony has not yet officially announced any specific details about the Xperia 1 VIII flagship phone, but based on the product release patterns of the past few years, the Sony Xperia 1 VIII is very likely to be officially released in the spring and summer of next year.
