The first 5G tablet in the series! The Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinity features an 8.4-inch OLED screen

Lenovo has officially announced the Legion Y700 Infinity, which will be released in August. The official slogan is “Small Tablet, Big 5G”. It is the first in the series to support 5G network.

The official screen configuration of the new phone was finally revealed today, with an upgrade to OLED material for the first time, resulting in a significant improvement in display quality compared to previous generations.

It features an 8.4-inch OLED panel with a full 165Hz refresh rate, Real RGB sub-pixel arrangement, a pixel density of 359PPI, a local peak brightness of up to 4000 nits, 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut coverage, color difference ΔE < 1, and Dolby Vision certification.

In terms of gaming experience, this screen boasts a 3400Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, a 360Hz native multi-finger touch sampling rate, and a 0.3ms screen response time . It has also received TÜV Rheinland’s Worry-Free Touch Certification, significantly improving the responsiveness of shooting and MOBA mobile games.

There’s no need to worry about eye protection either. It features six layers of hardware protection combined with four software optimizations. It uses DC dimming throughout the medium and high brightness range, and 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for low brightness. The proportion of harmful blue light is less than 6.75%. It supports a hardware-level 1nit ultra-low brightness night mode, which makes it less likely to cause visual fatigue during long-term gaming and reading. It has obtained TÜV Rheinland Global Eye Protection 5.0, hardware-level low blue light, and flicker-free certifications.

The official specifications have not yet been released, but it is expected to be largely consistent with the Y700 5th generation, featuring a Snapdragon 8E5 processor, LPDDR5T RAM (10667Mbps) + UFS 4.1 Pro flash storage, and an AnTuTu benchmark score exceeding 4.53 million.

The biggest highlight of the Y700 is its support for dual SIM dual standby, achieved through a physical SIM card and a built-in data SIM card.

It adopts a multi-antenna distributed design, so the signal is not blocked whether you hold it horizontally or vertically, and you don’t have to worry about losing network during games; it also supports the N79 band, the same specification as flagship phones.

In addition to being able to connect to the internet independently, the Y700 also supports making calls, making it perfectly usable as a standalone mobile device.
