REDMI K100 series is coming! Official announcement of the year’s major new product to be showcased at ChinaJoy.

Fast Technology reported that REDMI officially announced that its major new product of the year will be unveiled at the 2026 ChinaJoy exhibition in Shanghai on July 31, with its first offline display at the Snapdragon joint booth in Hall N5.

The official poster for Shanghai reads “The Demon King Appears,” and as everyone knows, the REDMI K series has always been known as the “Great Demon King.”

Based on previous leaks, it is highly likely that the REDMI K100 series will be officially unveiled at this year’s ChinaJoy exhibition, along with the release date.

Due to soaring costs, the K series, which focuses on cost-effectiveness, has changed its strategy this time and will still use the older Snapdragon 8E5 chip. This allows it to debut before Qualcomm’s new platform is released and will be officially launched in August.

The overall build quality has been greatly enhanced, featuring a large rounded corner straight screen and a horizontal large matrix metal Deco design. The color scheme of the engineering sample will be based on the iPhone 18 Pro series.

In terms of craftsmanship, it is fully benchmarked against Apple, with the metal frame and glass back panel using the same color scheme, making the whole device more integrated, but of course the cost will also be higher.

The front will feature a 185Hz ultra-high refresh rate flat screen, supporting super pixels, achieving 2K clarity with 1K power consumption.

In terms of imaging, it features a 200-megapixel main camera and supports telephoto macro, and is expected to use a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.

In other aspects, the REDMI K100 series will also be equipped with features such as 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, metal frame, glass back cover, full water resistance, and symmetrical dual speakers.

It’s worth noting that all models still feature speakers co-tuned by Bose, but the SanYang 2.1 is still exclusive to the Pro Max version.

In addition, there is a huge gap between the standard version of the K90 series and the Pro Max, with a gap in price coverage. This time, the Pro series will also return to fill this gap.
