The Huawei nova 15 series has surpassed 3 million units in cumulative sales.

Fast Technology reported that blogger “RD Observation” shared Huawei’s mid-range smartphone sales data: As of the 16th week of 2026, Huawei nova 15 series sales reached approximately 3.0283 million units, exceeding the 3 million mark.

The series was released on December 22, 2025, and officially went on sale on December 25, with a starting price of 2,699 yuan.

The market generally believes that its “more features for the same price” product strategy is the key factor behind its outstanding sales performance.

Yu Chengdong, chairman of Huawei’s Consumer Business Group, also mentioned the configuration of this series in a previous article, saying that it is equipped with front and rear dual red maple imaging, Kirin 9010S chip, dual satellite communication and dual super fast charging, with full configuration capabilities.

In terms of performance, the nova 15 Pro and Ultra models are equipped with the Kirin 9010S chip, which is the first time the nova series has used the Kirin 9 series flagship chip. Official data shows that the overall performance of the device is 18% higher than the previous generation; the standard version is equipped with the Kirin 8020 processor.

In terms of imaging, the nova 15 Pro and nova 15 Ultra are the first to feature the dual red maple imaging system, with both the front and rear cameras equipped with red maple lenses.

The front-facing camera also debuts a pixel-level spectral sensing algorithm, enabling more accurate color reproduction of people and scenes.

The rear camera also receives its first upgrade in the series, employing a quad-camera 50MP full RYYB Red Maple Imaging System, resulting in enhanced imaging capabilities for both front and rear shots.

In terms of battery life and communication configuration, the nova 15 is equipped with a 6.7-inch screen and a 6000mAh battery; the Pro and Ultra versions use a 6.84-inch screen and a 6500mAh battery.

All models support 100W wired fast charging, while Ultra models additionally support 50W wireless fast charging. All models also support BeiDou and TianTong dual-satellite communication.
