According to Fast Technology on May 6, after four years, Lenovo Legion phones are finally making a comeback.

The new generation of Lenovo Legion Y70 phone will be officially released on May 19th. This is the first new model launched by Legion since 2022.

Today, the official Weibo account of “JD Mobile Communications” shared photos of the new generation Legion Y70 phone.

The new phone continues the Legion family design language, featuring a fine-grained frosted glass back panel and an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy metal frame.

Meanwhile, the device adopts an ergonomic design for gaming grip, and the official statement claims that its module layout does not obstruct the hand and is more suitable for holding for extended periods of time in landscape gaming scenarios.

In terms of core configuration, the new generation of Legion Y70 phones is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen5 chip and pioneers a gel + liquid metal + VC combined heat dissipation solution. It features a 5500mm² ultra-large VC heat dissipation plate, along with 12W liquid metal thermal conductivity and 10W high thermal conductivity gel, focusing on sustained performance release under high load scenarios.

In terms of screen, the new phone is equipped with a 6.8-inch 2K gaming screen. This screen has a high resolution while consuming less power than some competitors’ 1.5K screens, achieving a better balance between image quality and energy efficiency.

The new generation of the Legion Y70 phone features a built-in 8000mAh Star Ring Battery, supports 90W fast charging, and supports 1200 cycles. The official claim is that the battery health will still be no less than 80% after 7 years.
