The OPPO Find X9 Ultra engineering sample has leaked online: it supports 10x optical zoom.

Fast Technology reported that an engineering sample of the OPPO Find X9 Ultra recently leaked on social media. Although the phone is encased in a thick protective case, the overall layout of the camera cutouts suggests that it will likely continue the classic Oreo-style large circular lens design, maintaining a high degree of brand recognition.

It is reported that the OPPO Find X9 Ultra adopts a brand-new dual 200-megapixel penta-camera setup, boasting impressive hardware specifications. This combination includes a 200-megapixel ultra-large sensor main camera, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, a 50-megapixel periscope super telephoto lens, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a unique Danxia original color lens.

Compared to the previous generation, the mid-range lens group has been significantly upgraded to 200 million pixels, while the 50-megapixel super telephoto lens can achieve up to 10x optical zoom, which has been jokingly referred to by netizens as the “telescope of the camera circle”. This is also the high-end flagship model with the strongest optical zoom capability to date.

Meanwhile, OPPO also designed a 300mm teleconverter specifically for this phone. In specific scenarios such as concerts and sporting events, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra, when used with the teleconverter, can accurately capture details of extremely distant scenes, making it a true telephoto marvel.

In terms of core specifications, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra features a 2K flat screen and is powered by Qualcomm’s fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra flagship chip. The new phone will be available in two configurations: a standard version and a satellite communication version. The latter supports satellite calling, ensuring uninterrupted communication even in extreme environments without terrestrial network coverage.

The device is expected to be officially released in March and has already successfully obtained network access permission. Its internal model number is PMA110.
