The Red Magic 12 Pro series will be available in October!

According to a report by Fast Technology on August 20, blogger “WHYLAB” revealed that the Red Magic 12 Pro series is expected to be released in October and will be among the first to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen6 Pro flagship platform.

Previously, some netizens inquired with Jiang Chao, the general manager of Red Magic gaming phones, about the progress of the Red Magic 12 series, saying that there has been no news about the new phone for a long time.

In response, Jiang Chao stated unequivocally, “It must be released.” As for why there is still no news about the Red Magic 12, he explained that it’s not time for pre-launch promotion yet.

It is understood that the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit will be held from September 23 to 25, at which time the new generation 2nm flagship platform Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen6 series will be officially released, including two chips: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen6 Pro.

The Snapdragon 8E6 Pro will use Qualcomm’s self-developed third-generation Oryon CPU, featuring a 2+3+3 octa-core tri-cluster architecture and 16MB of shared L2 cache.

Its super core frequency is expected to approach 5GHz, which will further enhance its performance. It will also be equipped with the new generation Adreno 850 GPU.

As Red Magic’s new generation gaming flagship, the Red Magic 12 series will continue to adhere to the true full-screen route, adopt an under-display camera solution, and is expected to upgrade to a new generation of under-display luminescent materials, further improving display performance while maintaining a hole-free visual effect.

In addition, the new device will also be equipped with brand-new AI capabilities, and the anime-style e-sports assistant MORA is also expected to receive an upgrade, becoming more intelligent in game assistance, interaction and other scenarios.

In terms of heat dissipation, the Red Magic 12 series will adopt a dual heat dissipation solution of “liquid cooling + air cooling”. Through the active air cooling and liquid cooling system working together, the body temperature under high load gaming scenarios will be further suppressed, reducing the performance throttling caused by overheating.
