The REDMI K90 Ultra features a Dimensity 9500 processor and an 8500mAh battery.

Fast Technology reported that blogger Digital Chat Station revealed the configuration of a flagship phone powered by the Dimensity 9500 processor, which is expected to be the REDMI K90 Ultra Edition.

This phone not only features the Dimensity 9500 processor, but also has a built-in cooling fan, making it the first model in the Xiaomi lineup to have active cooling. This allows it to fully utilize the Dimensity 9500’s performance and achieve sustained and stable output.

The Dimensity 9500 is manufactured using TSMC’s latest third-generation 3nm process. Its CPU architecture includes one C1-Ultra super core with a clock speed of up to 4.21GHz, three C1-Premium super cores, and four C1-Pro cores. Its single-core performance is 32% higher than the previous generation, and its multi-core performance is 17% higher.

Battery life and fast charging are also key features of this phone. It has a built-in 8500mAh± super large battery, and they are still trying to increase the capacity internally. It supports 100W wired fast charging and is expected to be compatible with 100W PPS.

The leak also mentioned that the REDMI K90 Ultra supports ultra-high refresh rates and is expected to achieve a 165Hz ultra-high refresh rate screen.

Several competing brands already have models equipped with 165Hz ultra-high refresh rate screens. Although Xiaomi is slightly behind, more and more mainstream games are now adapted to 165Hz, so users will be able to enjoy a full-fledged experience after the product is released.

It’s worth noting that the K-series has traditionally been released in the second half of the year, but this year’s REDMI K90 Ultra will be released earlier, possibly around May.
