Xiaomi fans are collectively urging Lu Weibing: The REDMI Turbo 6 must come with 1TB of storage!

Fast Technology reported that Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group, publicly solicited suggestions from Mi Fans, asking them what new expectations they had for the next generation of the Turbo series.

In the comments section of social media platforms, the most popular request pointed directly to the 1TB storage space. Many Mi fans have been calling out to the REDMI Turbo 6 series, hoping that a large-capacity 1TB version will be arranged.

Looking back at the existing REDMI Turbo 5 Max, its highest specification is 16GB with 512GB of storage, with an official price of 2799 yuan. After enjoying the national subsidy, the price is only 2379.15 yuan, but it is a pity that the 1TB option is missing.

However, Xiaomi still demonstrates its sincerity in this generation of products. Faced with the recent surge in memory costs, many mobile phone brands have had no choice but to raise prices or reduce configurations. Xiaomi, on the other hand, chose to allocate 1 billion yuan for memory subsidies, allowing the 12GB+512GB version of the REDMI Turbo 5 Max to drop to 2499 yuan during the first sale period.

This practice of using internal subsidies to absorb cost pressures has significantly reduced the impact of industry fluctuations on consumers’ purchasing budgets.

In terms of hardware configuration, the REDMI Turbo 5 Max already has a very strong foundation. It uses a 6.83-inch 1.5K flat screen, is powered by the Dimensity 9500s flagship platform, and is also equipped with a high-quality metal frame and an ultrasonic screen fingerprint sensor for more accurate recognition.

In terms of practicality, this model not only supports wet-hand touch 2.0, but also boasts high-standard waterproof ratings of IP66, IP68, and IP69. If the future Turbo 6 series can maintain these core features and respond to public demand by adding a 1TB version, it will undoubtedly be even more competitive in the market.
