REDMI announced that the Note 17 will be equipped with a 7-inch ultra-large OLED screen. This is not only the largest screen ever in the REDMI Note series, but also extremely rare in the thousand-yuan price range.

Looking back at the previous generation, the standard version of the REDMI Note 15 had a 6.77-inch screen, while the Pro and Pro+ versions both had a 6.83-inch screen, which is also the mainstream size commonly used in the industry.

The REDMI Note 17 jumps to a 7-inch screen, even surpassing the Xiaomi Max 3 released in 2018—which had a 6.9-inch screen. The advantages of a larger screen are particularly noticeable for older users. Meanwhile, the REDMI Note 17 is also equipped with a large 8000mAh battery, which can easily last a full day even for heavy users. Battery life will undoubtedly be one of the phone’s core selling points.
