The vivo X500 Pro Max debuts with the G-Force 900 chipset:

Fast Technology reported that Han Boxiao, General Manager of vivo X Series Products, introduced more imaging details of the vivo X500 Pro Max.

He stated that the goal of the vivo X500 series is to become “the first choice for photography and the only choice for video.” To achieve cinematic video standards, vivo has deeply customized the imaging hardware, equipping it with the “Blueprint 900” Zeiss ultra-dynamic main camera, co-developed with Sony, which elevates the dynamic range of video to a cinematic 17EV.

After resolving the brightness issue, the X500 Pro Max focused on overcoming another challenge: image stabilization stability. Han Boxiao pointed out that the core capability that can infinitely raise the bar for video quality is image stabilization.

In terms of video capabilities, thanks to the experience gained from the X300 Ultra, Vivo has equipped the Blueprint 900 with OIS 3-degree wide-angle gimbal-level image stabilization, doubling the stabilization range compared to its predecessor. In still photography scenarios, the camera’s stabilization performance is equally outstanding, reaching the CIPA 7.0 professional-grade stabilization standard.

To ensure a sharp, clear image during photography, a faster shutter speed is usually required. However, compressing the exposure time naturally limits the amount of light entering the camera, leading to increased noise and blurring. If image stabilization is insufficient, a trade-off must be made between “stability” and “brightness.”

A superior image stabilization system allows for slower shutter speeds, giving the sensor more time to receive light, thus achieving a balance between brightness and stability in the image. Han Boxiao emphasized, “The X500 Pro Max has both stability and brightness.”

This is the effect achieved by the Zeiss Ultra Dynamic Main Camera of the X500 series. With its cinematic dynamic range and ultimate image stabilization, it truly achieves “clear even in backlight, with every frame cinematic quality”.
