The Xiaomi 17 Max is the first to feature an 8000mAh battery.

Fast Technology reported that in September last year, Xiaomi’s 17 series product line underwent a major adjustment, no longer following the traditional dual-cup layout of standard and Pro versions, but instead adopting a more segmented high-end matrix layout of standard, Pro and Pro Max versions to meet the needs of different users.

Xiaomi then launched the Xiaomi 17 Ultra in December, which was the first phone to be equipped with a Leica APO certified telephoto lens, representing Leica’s recognition of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra’s optical capabilities.

That’s not all. Xiaomi will also launch the Xiaomi 17 Max in the first half of this year, which is the largest lineup in the history of Xiaomi’s digital series.

According to the blogger Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 17 Max has a similar design to the Xiaomi 17, but the screen has been upgraded to the same LIPO four-narrow bezel straight screen as the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. The battery capacity reaches 8000mAh and supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Compared to the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, the Xiaomi 17 Max omits the rear screen, has a 500mAh larger battery, and is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Ultra flagship platform. It will be priced lower than the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max.

It’s easy to see from the configuration that the Xiaomi 17 Max focuses on a large screen, long battery life, and flagship performance.
