Unprecedented! Honor begins trial production of a massive 11000mAh battery

According to Fast Technology on April 15, the power bank industry may never have anticipated that, as a core accessory for smartphones, they are facing the crisis of being marginalized or even eliminated by smartphones themselves.

Last December, the Honor WIN series became the first to be equipped with a 10,000mAh super-large battery, a move that officially heralded the arrival of the era of smartphones with a capacity of over 10,000 mAh.

Paired with the HONOR Dujiangyan power management system and the HONOR E2 energy-efficient chip, the battery life experience is further enhanced, leading the pack in multiple media battery life test rankings.

However, 10000mAh is far from the industry’s end. According to the latest leak, Honor is in trial production of a new battery with a capacity of up to 11000mAh. This is more than 900mAh more than the 10080mAh battery in the previous Honor Power 2, once again breaking Honor’s record.

Not long ago, a 5000mAh battery capacity was widely recognized as large. But with the rapid advancements in battery technology today, 10000mAh and above are gradually becoming the new standard for mobile phones.

This leap forward in capacity not only greatly expands the usage scenarios of mobile phones and solves users’ battery anxiety, but also objectively accelerates the decline of the power bank industry. When mobile phone batteries are sufficient to support several days of use, bulky external power supplies will gradually become obsolete.

As major manufacturers continue to push the boundaries of battery density and energy density, the roles of mobile phones and power banks are reversing. What were once auxiliary tools for extending the lifespan of mobile phones are being pushed out of the market by more powerful native battery life.
