vivo Officially Confirms Camera Sensors and Color Options for V70 and V70 Elite

Yesterday, vivo unveiled details regarding the pricing tiers and key specifications of its upcoming smartphones, the V70 and V70 Elite also confirming that at least one model will be offered in a striking Passion Red color. In a subsequent update, vivo has provided additional details regarding color availability: the V70 will come in two color variants whereas the V70 Elite will offer three distinct options for buyers to choose from.

Both the V70 and V70 Elite are set to launch with the Passion Red color option. However, the Lemon Yellow variant will be exclusive to the V70 while the V70 Elite will feature two exclusive colors of its own: Sand Beige and Authentic Black.

In addition, vivo confirmed that the 50MP “ZEISS Night Telephoto Camera” featured on both the V70 and V70 Elite will be equipped with the Sony IMX882 sensor. At the same time, the 50MP primary camera, co-developed with ZEISS is designed to work with the Sony IMX766 sensor highlighting vivo’s focus on advanced imaging technology in both devices.

vivo has already confirmed that the standard V70 will run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC delivering efficient performance for everyday tasks. In contrast, the V70 Elite will be powered by the more capable Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, designed for users seeking high end performance. vivo has not yet officially announced the launch date for its upcoming V70 series but the company has confirmed that both the V70 and V70 Elite will be priced below INR 50,000. Based on current expectations, the V70 and V70 Elite are likely to be launched in India during the period of February 16 to February 19, 2026. Meanwhile, vivo recently unveiled the X200T which will go on sale in India starting February 3.
