Fast Technology reported that vivo announced that the vivo X Fold6 will be released on June 26th at 19:00. The new phone is currently available for pre-order on vivo’s official website and e-commerce platform flagship stores.
The reservation page shows that the vivo X Fold6 offers four storage versions: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB, and four color options: Blue Hole, Salt Lake, Midnight, and Black Gold.
It is understood that the vivo X Fold6 aims to create the strongest foldable imaging flagship, and is also a “foldable mini V-shaped single-lens camera”.
In terms of imaging capabilities, the vivo X Fold6 is equipped with a 1/1.4-inch large-sensor 200MP main camera from Blueprint and Samsung HPB, featuring a large f/1.68 aperture and supporting CIPA 4.5 professional-grade image stabilization, providing more stable performance in low-light, fast-paced, and long-exposure scenarios.
Meanwhile, the new phone also debuts the Zeiss APO super telephoto lens on a foldable screen, equipped with a Blueprint × Sony LYT 602 large-sensor periscope telephoto lens. This is also the first periscope telephoto lens on a foldable screen to meet the Zeiss APO color difference control standard, which can further improve telephoto image quality and color performance.
To enhance telephoto shooting capabilities, the vivo X Fold6 also supports the vivo Zeiss G2 teleconverter lens with an equivalent 200mm focal length, giving foldable phones greater creative freedom in scenarios such as landscapes, portraits, and performances.
In addition, the new camera also supports Blueprint native colors, Blueprint color palette, multiple film styles, AI Agent camera photography assistant, AI creative camera and other functions.
In terms of screen, both the inner and outer screens of the Vivo X Fold6 use the latest generation of luminescent materials. The inner screen is the first foldable screen to use Samsung’s M14 luminescent material, which has higher peak brightness and lower power consumption.
The device is equipped with the Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chip, which is deeply customized for foldable screens and AI productivity scenarios. Its NPU peak performance is 111% higher than the previous generation, while power consumption is reduced by 56%, achieving double the computing power and halved power consumption.
In terms of system, the vivo X Fold6 debuts the OriginOS 6 Fold customized system, upgrading features such as the Atomic Workbench, AI Assistant, and dual-device collaboration, while also enhancing on-device AI capabilities and interactive experience.
Overall, the vivo X Fold6 not only continues to push the boundaries of foldable screen technology in terms of imaging hardware, but also further enhances the practical value of foldable screens in mobile office, creative, and multitasking scenarios through its large-screen system, AI capabilities, and performance platform.
