vivo X300 Ultra achieves DXO image score of 170: Outstanding portrait photography

Fast Technology reported that more than two months after the release of the vivo X300 Ultra, the review organization DXOMARK recently released the phone’s imaging scores.

According to DXOMARK data, the vivo X300 Ultra achieved a total image score of 170, ranking third in the global image rankings, outperforming the iPhone 17 Pro.

Based on the sample image comparisons released by DXOMARK, the vivo X300 Ultra performs exceptionally well in several key imaging metrics.

Among its features, 
this camera excels in portrait photography, producing vibrant colors and rich detail; it also boasts flagship-level zoom capabilities, capturing high levels of detail even when shooting from a distance.

In addition, the vivo X300 Ultra’s portrait mode performs excellently, with natural subject segmentation and a superb spotlight effect; the ultra-wide-angle module also has excellent detail retention capabilities, and the overall image quality is quite natural.

However, DXOMARK also pointed out that there is still room for improvement in the video shooting of the vivo X300 Ultra. For example, noise increases in low-light environments, and there are some fluctuations in exposure and white balance stability.

It is understood that the vivo X300 Ultra is equipped with a Zeiss master lens group, covering a 14mm Zeiss ultra-wide-angle lens, a 35mm Zeiss documentary lens II, and an 85mm Zeiss gimbal-level telephoto lens, with the three cameras working together to achieve high-quality output across the entire focal length.

Among them, the 35mm 200MP Zeiss main human portrait camera is the world’s first to use the Blueprint x Sony LYTIA-901 sensor, which has a 1/1.12-inch ultra-large sensor, a 30% increase in single-pixel light-sensitive area, and a 32% increase in full-well capacity, further improving light intake and image quality.

In terms of telephoto, the vivo X300 Ultra uses a 200-megapixel APO solution, equipped with a Samsung HP0 sensor, supports 3° physical image stabilization, reaches CIPA 7.0 level professional image stabilization, and improves the equivalent light intake by 300%.
