Vivo X300 Ultra Could Boast an Extra-Large Multispectral Sensor

The upcoming vivo X300 Ultra which is expected to be the company’s new flagship for cameras has been appearing in multiple leaks recently. The latest information reveals more about its rear camera system, hinting that it could include two massive 200MP sensors.

Digital Chat Station, one of the most reliable and widely followed tipsters in the tech world, has continued to share new and exciting details about vivo’s upcoming flagship, the X300 Ultra. In a detailed Weibo update, the tipster noted that the phone is likely to deliver unmatched color accuracy when taking photos or recording videos. This improvement is attributed to newly developed multispectral sensor which allows the camera to capture colors more accurately across different lighting conditions.

According to the tipster, the upcoming phone will feature a custom 5MP multispectral sensor that is larger than usual and supports a higher number of color channels. In addition to delivering more accurate colors in photos and videos this sensor is also expected to provide better skin tones, more precise white balance, improved night photography and enhanced HDR capabilities for clearer and more vibrant images.

The upcoming vivo X300 Ultra is rumored to feature an impressive rear camera setup. It is expected to include a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultrawide camera with a larger sensor than before allowing for improved photography in various conditions. The smartphone is anticipated to have a global launch sometime in the first quarter of 2026.

Additionally, the vivo X300 Pro 5G will be available in two configurations. The first version offer 256GB of internal storage paired with 12GB of RAM, priced at $1,099 with deals potentially reducing it to around $787.62. The higher end model come with 512GB of storage and 16GB of RAM, priced at $1,099 or €1,399 depending on the region providing consumers with flexible options based on their preferences and budget.
