vivo X500 Ultra to debut next year: Thanos-level imaging, vivo’s highest-end smartphone

Fast Technology reported that Huang Tao, Vice President of Product at vivo, revealed in a media interview that the vivo X500 Ultra will undergo a normal iteration, with the new product officially launching in March or April next year, primarily targeting professional creators. This signifies that vivo will continue to focus on the high-end imaging flagship market and bring higher-specification creative tools to professional users.

As vivo’s top-of-the-line flagship phone, the X500 Ultra will boast “Thanos-level” imaging capabilities, although specific details are currently unknown. Given vivo’s continued investment in imaging technology, expectations for this new phone are even higher.

In March of this year, the vivo X300 Ultra was officially released. This phone is equipped with a professional imaging system, featuring an 85mm Zeiss super telephoto lens, and uses the HP0 sensor jointly developed by vivo and Samsung. It is also the first phone to achieve 3-degree micro-gimbal-level optical image stabilization at the telephoto end, reaching the CIPA 7.0 professional-grade image stabilization standard.

This specification far exceeds the 0.7 to 1 degree image stabilization angle of traditional mobile phone telephoto lenses, greatly improving the success rate of handheld shooting from a distance and making telephoto creation more stable and reliable.

With its 3+2 Zeiss master lens array, the vivo X300 Ultra covers the entire focal length range from 14mm ultra-wide-angle to 400mm super telephoto, and supports direct output of ultra-high-definition photos across all focal lengths. Furthermore, it supports 4K 120fps 10-bit Log video recording across all focal lengths, further enhancing its professional creative capabilities and meeting the high-frequency switching needs of professional creators between photos and videos.

In addition, the vivo X300 Ultra is the first to feature Blueprint Native Color. It allows light to flow naturally on portraits, preserving skin texture and making facial highlights more breathable. At the same time, it retains the true layers seen by the naked eye, making the brightness and darkness of the image conform to human visual perception, and the overall viewing experience is not glaring, harsh, or artificial.
