vivo Y500 Pro receives certification: passing the highest level of testing.

Fast Technology reported that in October of this year, the national standard GB/T 46367-2025 “Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Reliability of Mobile Communication Terminals”, which was led by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) , was officially released and will be fully implemented from May 1, 2026.

This standard fills a gap in the industry by establishing unified specifications for the environmental adaptability and mechanical reliability of mobile communication terminals. It adopts a tiered approach to formulate technical requirements, allowing for flexible selection of test levels based on product usage scenarios. It covers a variety of products, including mobile communication terminals, wearable devices that support communication functions, and tablet computers.

vivo took the lead in responding to national standards, and its vivo Y500 Pro 5G digital mobile phone successfully passed the stringent testing of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) Telecommunication Technology Labs, winning the first Telecommunication Technology Labs certification based on this national standard (certificate number: 0302547331906R0L), becoming the first product in the industry to meet the requirements of this national standard.

During the certification process, the vivo Y500 Pro 5G met the highest national standard Level 3 in all the grading assessment items, achieving an IP6X dustproof rating and an IPX8 waterproof rating, easily handling complex usage environments.

It passed the 1.2-meter directional drop test smoothly, showing no fear of everyday accidental bumps; any button can withstand 100,000 presses, and it performed excellently in mechanical stress tests such as collision and random vibration.
