Xiaomi 18 Pro Max camera leaks: debut of a brand new 200MP main camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor and LOFIC.

Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will be officially unveiled in September this year, and its imaging configuration information has been leaked in advance.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will debut a brand-new Leica 200-megapixel main camera, using the SmartSens SCC90XS sensor. This sensor, first unveiled in April of this year, not only boasts a high resolution of 200 megapixels but also features a large 1/1.28-inch sensor size, manufactured using a 22nm Stack advanced process, and is the first to support LOFIC HDR 3.0 technology, achieving a dynamic range of up to 105dB, significantly outperforming similar competing products.

In actual shooting, even when facing bright scenes such as light boxes, the sensor can present light and shadow effects that are closer to the intuitive perception of the human eye, and the bright areas in the picture will hardly have serious overexposure or loss of detail.

In terms of focusing, the SCC90XS supports two fast focusing modes: 100% full-pixel autofocus and 6% partial-pixel phase detection autofocus. It can flexibly switch between modes according to lighting conditions, achieving a good balance between speed and power consumption, and realizing high-speed and accurate focusing performance.

In addition to upgrades in imaging, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will also be the world’s first to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8E6 Pro flagship platform, along with a super-large battery and 100W fast charging. The screen quality is also expected to be upgraded, reinforcing its all-around positioning.

In terms of specifications, this will be Xiaomi’s most powerful flagship phone ever. In addition to the Pro Max, the Xiaomi 18 Pro will also be unveiled at the same time.
