The English version of Apple Intelligence is now online. The actual network speed of an iPhone with activated 5G-A can reach 1400Mbps, which is much faster than traditional 5G.
According to the list on China Telecom’s official website, all iPhone 13-16 series (including 16e) can support 5G-A networks after upgrading to iOS 18.4.
As for the iPhone 12 and earlier models, they are not capable of 5G-A due to baseband hardware limitations.
