Apple is targeting Huawei with a large stock of foldable iPhones, priced under 16,000 yuan.

Blogger Dingjiao Digital stated that Apple’s foldable iPhone will be unveiled next year. This time, Apple has prepared a large quantity of stock, and the pricing may overlap with Huawei’s foldable screen.

It is reported that the initial price of the Huawei Mate X6 foldable screen phone will be between 12,999 and 15,999 yuan. If the price of Apple’s foldable iPhone overlaps with that of Huawei, then the latter’s starting price will not exceed 16,000 yuan, making it Huawei’s strongest competitor.

Although Apple has not yet released a foldable screen, industry insiders believe that the already released iPhone Air will provide technical validation for Apple’s foldable screen.

Specifically, the internal structure of the iPhone Air has been redesigned, with the motherboard, chips, and camera all concentrated in a small area at the top of the device, leaving more space for the battery. This is similar to the design philosophy of many current foldable screen phones.

Furthermore, the iPhone Air also debuted several technologies. In addition to being equipped with the A19 Pro, it also debuted Apple’s self-developed new wireless communication chip N1 and a new version of the cellular modem C1X. These chips and technologies will be applied to Apple’s foldable screen iPhone next year, which is worth looking forward to.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously revealed that the foldable iPhone will use the same high-density battery cells as the iPhone Air. Apple positions the foldable iPhone as the highest-end iPhone model. Due to Apple’s high brand value, as long as the quality is good enough, the demand for replacements driven by the first-generation foldable iPhone is expected to be very strong, even if the price is high.
