Apple’s first foldable screen phone is rumored to be named iPhone Duo

Apple’s first foldable iPhone will be officially unveiled tomorrow morning. As the launch event approaches, more information about the new phone’s name, price, and release date is emerging.

Today, renowned technology journalist Mark Gurman revealed that Apple’s first foldable phone may ultimately be named iPhone Duo, rather than the iPhone Ultra that was widely speculated to be.

In terms of pricing, the iPhone Duo is expected to start with a 256GB capacity at a price of $2,000, or about 13,000 yuan; the 2TB version may cost up to $3,000, or about 20,000 yuan.

Previously, the market generally expected that the starting price of Apple’s first foldable screen iPhone would be over $2,000, and possibly even $2,500.

If it ultimately starts at $2,000, the actual price will be lower than some market expectations.

The iPhone Duo is expected to be available in white and dark blue, and will not be officially sold until October this year at the earliest, which will be later than the regular new iPhone products.

In terms of configuration, the leak suggests that the iPhone Duo will be equipped with the new A20 Pro chip and Apple’s self-developed C2 baseband, a dual 48-megapixel rear camera, and a 12-megapixel front camera.
