According to a report by Fast Technology on June 24th, blogger Digital Chat Station hinted that the REDMI K100 may be launched as early as August. If this leak is true, then the release date of this phone will be earlier than the Xiaomi 18 series.
Looking back at the previous generation, the REDMI K90 was released on October 23, 2025, while the Xiaomi 17 was unveiled on September 25 of the same year. But this time the situation seems to be different—the REDMI K100 was moved up to August, while the Xiaomi 18 series still maintains the September release schedule.
According to leaks, the K100 series will adopt a dual-version layout, with one large and one small version. The standard version is equipped with a 6.59-inch mid-size screen, while the Pro Max version features a 6.9-inch super-large screen with a maximum refresh rate of 185Hz, making its screen specifications quite aggressive.
In terms of performance, both models will be equipped with Qualcomm’s fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra flagship platform. Regarding battery life, the top-of-the-line version boasts a 9000mAh battery, providing ample power for both daily use and heavy gaming.
Furthermore, the K100 series will offer new features in audio experience. It is claimed that its overall external speaker performance will continue to lead the current flagship level in the industry, potentially raising the bar for mobile phone external speaker sound quality and providing users with a more immersive audio-visual experience.
