Fang Fei, president of Honor’s product line, recently revealed that Honor will soon be releasing a phone that is “both Pro and Air”.
Today, Honor’s official Weibo account released a teaser video, officially announcing that the new phone will be named Honor Magic8 Pro Air and will be unveiled on January 19.
Judging from the official video,
the Honor Magic8 Pro Air focuses on an Air-level lightweight and thin body and a Pro-level configuration experience, achieving flagship performance, long battery life and flagship imaging in a lightweight design.
It’s worth mentioning that Li Kun, the product manager of Honor’s flagship phones, previously posted a comparison photo of the new Honor phone and the iPhone Air on a scale, showing that the new phone is significantly lighter.
Based on the information available, this device is the upcoming Honor Magic8 Pro Air.
A tech blogger has revealed that the Honor Magic8 Pro Air’s thickness may be around 6.3mm and its weight only about 158g, which is lighter than the 165g iPhone Air.
In terms of configuration, the new phone will be equipped with a 6.31-inch display, a Dimensity 9500 chip, a built-in 5500mAh battery, and support for 80W fast charging.
