Built-in projector in your phone! The 8849 Tank 5 packs a massive 17600mAh battery.

Fast Technology reported that the 8849 Tank series is designed for outdoor rugged scenarios. The body is sturdy and durable, with dustproof, waterproof and drop-proof features. At the same time, with features such as long battery life and built-in projector, it has become the exclusive model for outdoor enthusiasts.

The previously released 8849 Tank X in this series features a 220-lumen 1080p DLP laser autofocus projector, significantly enhancing the outdoor audio-visual experience.

The newly iterated 8849 Tank 5 will be released on June 10th, retaining the classic projection function while undergoing a comprehensive upgrade in performance, screen, and configuration.

In terms of screen, the new phone is equipped with a 6.73-inch AMOLED screen with a 3200 x 1440 ultra-high resolution and a 120Hz high refresh rate, as well as a peak brightness of 3000 nits, which can easily handle outdoor viewing and operation scenarios in strong light.

In terms of performance, the phone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400E processor, and the top configuration features 18GB of LPDDR5X memory and 512GB of UFS 4.0 high-speed storage , providing ample computing power to run various applications and multimedia programs smoothly.

Battery life is the core highlight of this device. It has a built-in 17600mAh super-large battery and supports 120W super fast charging and 25W reverse charging. It can quickly replenish power and also act as a power bank to provide emergency power for other devices, making it suitable for outdoor scenarios without mains power.

The phone is IP68 dust and water resistant, making it suitable for challenging outdoor environments such as rain, sandstorms, and impacts. Due to its rugged design and large battery, the phone measures 177.1×87.3×13.8 mm and weighs 715 grams, making it thicker and heavier than a typical smartphone.

In terms of imaging, the phone features a 50-megapixel main camera + 50-megapixel night vision dual rear camera and a 32-megapixel front camera, which can meet the needs of daily shooting and nighttime outdoor shooting.

In addition, the new device supports DisplayPort 1.4 video input and output, allowing it to be used with external devices and projectors; it also features a 3.5mm audio jack, up to 2TB expandable storage card, side-mounted fingerprint unlock, and a high-brightness rear camping light.
