The Honor Magic V6 was launched in Malaysia, starting at NT$12,900.

Fast Technology reported that the Honor Magic V6 foldable flagship was officially launched in Malaysia, offering two versions: 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB.

In terms of pricing, the 16GB+512GB version is priced at 7699 Malaysian Ringgit, which is approximately 12995 RMB; the 16GB+1TB version is priced at 8899 Malaysian Ringgit, which is approximately 15021 RMB.

After the new phone was launched, Honor’s Chief Marketing Officer, Guan Haitao, posted a congratulatory message, stating: “In the Malaysian market, one out of every three foldable screen phones sold is an Honor foldable screen phone.”

According to data from IDC, in the first quarter of 2026, the top five companies in the Chinese foldable phone market were Huawei, Honor, OPPO, vivo, and Xiaomi.

Among them, Honor’s foldable screen market share soared from 9.1% in 2025 to 21%, becoming the only brand on the list to double its market share and firmly holding the top two positions in the Chinese foldable screen phone market.

According to reports, in 2025, Honor’s global shipments exceeded 71 million units for the first time, with overseas markets growing by more than 40% year-on-year, and overseas sales accounting for more than 50% for the first time.

This means that, in terms of business structure, Honor is no longer a company with the Chinese market as its absolute center and overseas markets as a supplement, but has entered a stage where it operates in both China and overseas markets.

As Honor’s new generation of high-end foldable flagship, the Honor Magic V6 has been upgraded in terms of its thin and light body, long battery life, screen reliability, and AI experience, forming a strong differentiated competitive advantage in the high-end foldable screen market.

With the launch of the Honor Magic V6 in the Malaysian market, Honor will further expand its influence in the overseas high-end foldable screen market and drive the continued increase of Honor’s global market share for foldable screens.
