Fast Technology reported that luxury bespoke brand Caviar recently launched its new Legends series. The first batch of products is themed around football superstars Messi and Ronaldo, and is based on the unreleased Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Apple iPhone 17 Pro series, respectively.
Caviar stated that the series is designed to pay tribute to the most iconic football rivalry of the 21st century – Messi and Ronaldo – and to showcase their distinct on-field personalities through different models and design styles.
The Messi-themed edition is based on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, featuring the iconic blue and white color scheme of the Argentine national team on the back, along with Messi’s portrait, number 10 jersey, and other elements related to the Argentine national team.
The Messi portrait is handcrafted using the intricate cloisonné enamel technique. The frame, portrait outline, decorative border, number 10 jersey number, and national symbols are all plated with 24K gold. The overall design is more understated and refined, echoing Messi’s playing style.
The device is available in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB versions, with the 256GB version starting at $13,130 (approximately RMB 88,000), and only 19 units will be produced worldwide.
The Cristiano Ronaldo edition is based on the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, with a starting price of $11,410 (approximately 77,000 RMB), and is also limited to 19 units worldwide.
The back panel of the device features the classic red and green colors of the Portuguese national team, with Cristiano Ronaldo’s portrait in the center, along with his iconic number 7 jersey, the Portuguese coat of arms, and upward-extending geometric lines.
The official statement said that this more powerful and monumental design is intended to represent Cristiano Ronaldo’s strong desire to win, his leadership qualities, and his career pursuit of being number one.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s portrait also uses the hand-made cloisonné enamel technique, with the frame and design details covered in 24K gold plating.
