China Telecom Maimang 40 real machine unboxing

China Telecom’s Maimang 40 mobile phone will be released on June 25. The phone’s main feature is Tiantong satellite calls.

On the eve of the press conference, the price of Meizu 40 was exposed online, and some offline stores have released unboxing videos.

It is understood that Maimang 40 has three memory versions to choose from, 8GB+256GB priced at 1,999 yuan, 12GB+256GB priced at 2,199 yuan, and 12GB+512GB priced at 2,499 yuan.

The new phone uses a pill-shaped hole-punch screen and a black and green two-color splicing design on the back. The rear camera only has a 50-megapixel RYYB large-bottom main camera, with infrared and flash lights next to the main camera.

From the unboxing, we can see that
the Maimang 40 comes with a Tiantong satellite communication rights card worth 300 yuan. China Telecom users can scan the code to redeem one year of direct satellite connection function, 50 minutes of satellite calls, and 50 satellite text messages.

It is understood that this is the first phone in its class to be equipped with Tiantong satellite communication, and the X button on the body supports one-touch Tiantong satellite calls.

Previously, Tiantong satellite communications were mostly only available in high-end flagships, such as some models of Huawei Mate/P series.

The full support of the Maimang 40 series will be an important attempt by China Telecom to promote the popularization of key satellite communication technologies in more affordable product lines.

With satellite communication function, users can get in touch with the outside world even if they are in an area without ground network, and even save lives at critical moments.

In other aspects, Maimang 40 is equipped with a 6.7-inch 120Hz high refresh screen, built-in 6100mAh battery, supports 40W fast charging, built-in Xiaoyi and Telecom Xing Xiaochen dual AI, supports AI real-time analysis of call content and prevents telecommunications fraud.
