First T-series home review! Lu Weibing takes the Xiaomi 17T Pro out for a stroll: full of style.

The Xiaomi 17T series will be officially released on June 8. Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group, said that this is the first product launched after the T series returned to China.

Today, Lu Weibing posted a short video on Douyin, showing him taking the Xiaomi 17T Pro out for a street tour and demonstrating the new Leica Live dynamic photo function on the Xiaomi 17T series. The effect exceeded the expectations of many digital enthusiasts.

In the video, he introduced that
the dynamic real-world photos taken by the Xiaomi 17T Pro have a Leica feel in terms of color and light and shadow texture. It also supports direct access to the 5x telephoto lens for dynamic shooting, and can capture clear distant scenes without cropping.

The series also adds a brand-new Leica Live Collage feature, which allows users to directly combine multiple Live images together to generate a set of Leica dynamic photos full of stories with one click. The effect of posting on social media is much more outstanding than ordinary still photos.

In terms of hardware specifications, the Xiaomi 17T Pro’s main camera features a 50-megapixel large sensor with OIS image stabilization, and is also equipped with a 50-megapixel 5x OIS telephoto lens, paired with a Leica Summilux professional lens, supporting full 5x optical zoom, and can achieve good enough image quality for everyday street photography, portrait shooting, and landscape shooting.

In terms of core configuration, the Xiaomi 17T Pro features a 6.83-inch 144Hz high refresh rate screen, a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 flagship chip, a built-in 7000mAh super large battery, and supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. Its battery life is among the top tier of flagship phones in the same price range.

The Xiaomi 17T series addresses all three core pain points: imaging, battery life, and performance. In particular, the Leica-tuned dynamic photo function is likely to become one of the most popular and practical imaging features in the flagship market this year.
