vivo’s official Weibo account released a teaser today, announcing that the vivo X Fold6 will officially go on sale tomorrow, with a starting price of 7999 yuan. The phone will be available in four colors: Blue Hole, Salt Lake, Midnight, and Black Gold. The Black Gold version is exclusively available on the top-of-the-line 16GB+1TB configuration.

In terms of performance, the vivo X Fold6 is the first to be equipped with the Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chip, which was jointly developed by vivo and MediaTek. Specifically, the Dimensity 9500 Super Edition’s NPU peak performance is 111% higher than its predecessor, achieving sub-second response times when handling AI tasks such as large document summarization. Simultaneously, CPU and GPU performance are also improved, effectively ensuring smooth multi-window switching and file operations.

In terms of sustained performance output, the jointly developed edge AI voice engine and Swift KV large language model optimization technology have enabled the device to improve speech transcription speed by 7 times compared to the previous generation. In addition, the high-efficiency concurrent engine has reconstructed the image data rendering link, and the overall power consumption of the device has been optimized by more than 20% compared to the previous generation in multi-task heavy-load scenarios, balancing performance release and battery life.

In terms of AI intelligent experience, the vivo X Fold6 is the first to support the XiaoV Claw PC version intelligent agent. After users complete the deployment on the PC through the vivo office suite, they can remotely control it through various means such as Blue Heart XiaoV, WeChat, and QQ using their mobile phones to complete tasks such as intelligent management of Atomic Notes and intelligent scheduling, further expanding the use scenarios of cross-device collaboration.
