Full specs of vivo X200T reveal a surprisingly familiar device

Around a week ago, news surfaced that vivo was working on its upcoming X200T smartphone and yesterday a detailed list of its rumored specifications has appeared online giving fans a first look at the device. Reportedly, the X200T will include a 6.67 inch flat LTPS OLED display with “1.5K” resolution a high 120Hz refresh rate and a High Brightness Mode that can reach 1,600 nits which should make it bright enough to see even under direct sunlight.

The X200T is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor which should deliver fast and efficient performance. It will come with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage ensuring smooth multitasking and quick data access. On the back, the phone is expected to have three 50MP cameras. The main camera comes with OIS using Sony’s IMX921 sensor, an ultrawide lens with Samsung’s JN1 sensor and a periscope telephoto lens that supports 3x optical zoom with Sony’s IMX882 sensor.

The X200T reportedly comes with a 32MP selfie camera allowing users to take high quality self portraits. Powering the phone is a 6,200 mAh battery that can be charged quickly with 90W wired charging or 40W wireless charging. In terms of connectivity, the device supports Wi-Fi 7, NFC, an IR blaster and Bluetooth 5.4. It also comes with an X axis linear haptic motor for better touch feedback, dual stereo speakers for richer sound and an ultrasonic in display fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking. The phone comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings making it resistant to dust and water. Its overall dimensions include a thickness of 7.99mm with a weight of 203g to 205g depending on the variant.

If these specifications sound familiar, that’s because they match the ones for the vivo X200s. According to the leak and assuming it’s accurate, vivo may launch the same phone again but with a new model name, calling it the X200T. The reason behind this rebranding is not clear at all. The same source also suggests that the phone could cost around 60,000 Indian Rupees when it launches in India.
