Galaxy Z Flip 8 Expected to Feature Exynos 2600 Chip

Samsung has officially introduced its new Exynos 2600 chipset which many people think will be used in the upcoming Galaxy S26 smartphones in at least one country.

According to recent news coming out of Korea, Samsung may include the Exynos 2600 processor in the Galaxy Z Flip 8, which is expected to arrive in the summer. Last year, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 became the first Samsung foldable phone to use an Exynos processor specifically the Exynos 2500. So it makes sense that the next version the Flip 8 would use the updated successor chip. It’s still good to see this news confirmed early even though we will have to wait several months before the Flip 8 officially arrives.

On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to follow the same pattern as its predecessor by using Qualcomm’s latest high end processor the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. At the same time, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 comes in two main storage and memory configurations: a 256GB storage model with 12GB of RAM which is priced at $899.99 or €835.70 and a larger 512GB model with 12GB of RAM costing $1,019.99 or €886.07. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 also comes in two storage options, both with 12GB of RAM. The smaller 256GB variant costs $1,399.99 or €1,293.18 while the 512GB version is priced at $1,399.99 or €1,489.99.
