Blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that Honor is testing two chips, Dimensity 9500 and Dimensity 8500. Among them, the Dimensity 9500 model is a small-screen flagship with a screen size of 6.31 inches. It is expected to be a new member of the Honor Magic8 series.
Last year, MediaTek launched the Dimensity 9400 platform, which was first installed by OPPO and vivo. Honor did not use this chip. Now Honor has joined the Dimensity 9500 camp, and the small-screen flagship is already being polished.
According to leaks, the Dimensity 9500 will be launched as early as September. It is manufactured based on TSMC’s third-generation 3nm process N3P. It adopts a full-large core architecture, consisting of 1*Travis+3*Alto+4*Gelas. Among them, Travis and Alto are Arm’s new generation X9 series super-large cores, supporting the SME instruction set, and Gelas is Arm’s new generation A7 series large core.
In terms of running points, the theoretical single-core score of Geekbench 6 of Dimensity 9500 is set at 3900+, and the multi-core score exceeds 11000. The multi-core score is comparable to that of Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, but will exceed that of Apple A19 Pro.
