Huawei Mate 90 RS Master Renderings Revealed: Two-Tone Body with Unparalleled Distinctiveness

Fast Technology reported that Yu Chengdong, Huawei’s executive director, chairman of the product investment review committee, and chairman of the terminal BG, appeared in Hefei, and real photos of the Mate 90 series were unexpectedly taken, quickly attracting attention from the outside world.

Based on this, a blogger created a render of the Mate 90 RS Master Edition. The render shows that the biggest change is the adoption of a two-tone body design, paired with an octagonal camera module, giving it a highly distinctive look.

Its front features a large dual-layer OLED flat screen, expected to adopt a triple punch-hole design and support 3D face recognition, balancing display quality and security experience.

In terms of hardware configuration, the Huawei Mate 90 RS Master is equipped with the Kirin 9050 Pro chip, 16GB of RAM, and offers 512GB and 1TB storage versions. It comes pre-installed with the latest HarmonyOS 7 operating system.

It is reported that the Kirin 9050 Pro is the first high-performance chip to adopt logical folding technology, and it was first used in the tri-fold Mate XT 2. When the Kirin 9050 Pro appeared on the big screen at the launch event, the entire audience erupted in prolonged cheers and applause, demonstrating the attention and anticipation surrounding this chip.

This chip uses logic folding technology, which is like upgrading from a single-level structure to a duplex structure. It adds vertical interconnect channels inside, just like adding an elevator, making the signal transmission path shorter, the latency lower, and the performance better.

In terms of specifications, the Kirin 9050 Pro’s CPU uses the Lingxi architecture, with a 24% increase in single-core peak performance and a 52% increase in multi-core performance. It also supports hardware-level real-time ray tracing, resulting in an overall rendering performance improvement of 142% compared to its predecessor.

In addition to the Mate 90 RS Master, Huawei will also launch the Mate 90 standard edition, Mate 90 Pro, and Mate 90 Pro Max. The new products are expected to be officially released on September 29th, at which time the complete lineup of the series will be officially revealed.
