Huawei Mate 90 Pro Max Collector’s Edition can be connected to a 1-inch + 10x optical zoom lens.

Huawei Mate 90 series is expected to be released on September 29. The blogger Digital Chat Station revealed some of the specifications of the new phone.

The Mate 90 Pro Max Collector’s Edition will feature a gemstone-crafted star ring DECO and a native lens ring, allowing for the attachment of a large external telephoto lens for extended range.

This behemoth will use a 1-inch large sensor and a 10x optical zoom combination, making it the mobile phone with the strongest telephoto performance.

Compared to the previous solution of combining teleconverters with the phone’s original telephoto lens, this lens combined with a 1-inch large sensor can achieve a more extreme performance, and it is also the first time that such a technology has been mass-produced in the mobile phone industry.

In terms of hardware configuration, the Mate 90 Pro Max Collector’s Edition is equipped with a Kirin 9050 Pro chip, 16GB of RAM, a built-in 6800mAh battery, and supports 100W fast charging.

The Kirin 9050 Pro is Huawei’s first flagship chip based on the Tao Law logic folding architecture. By vertically stacking logic units, it increases transistor density under existing processes, and its GPU ray tracing performance is 142% higher than the previous generation.

The screen uses a new generation of dual-layer OLED panel with a resolution of 1.5K, supports a 1-144Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, and its peak brightness is said to reach tens of thousands of nits, covering the BT.2020 wide color gamut.

In terms of imaging, it features a rear 50-megapixel 1/1.28-inch ultra-high dynamic range main camera with variable aperture and anti-glare infrared coating, and a 200-megapixel 1/1.28-inch periscope telephoto lens.
