Honor Magic 6 Achieves TUV Rheinland’s Global Eye Protection 3.0 Certification

The Honor Magic 6 series has recently achieved a significant milestone by receiving the Global Eye Protection 3.0 certification from TÜV Rheinland, a leading international independent third-party testing, inspection, and certification organization. This certification, announced by TÜV Rheinland’s official German office, represents the highest level in the display field and is currently the most comprehensive certification project in terms of testing.

The Global Eye Protection certification encompasses four core dimensions: screen display quality, environmental light management, eye protection technology, and health and comfort guidelines. The Honor Magic 6 series has excelled in all these dimensions, reaching an industry-leading level.

The series supports five major Oasis eye protection technologies, including an industry-leading 4320Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming, natural light eye protection, sleep aid display, hardware-level low blue light, and natural color display. These features not only earned the series the Global Eye Protection 3.0 certification from TÜV Rheinland but also passed the VICO A+ visual comfort test from the China National Institute of Standardization.

Additionally, the Honor Magic 6 series employs a new screen focusing technology, achieving a peak brightness of 5000 nits, leading the industry. This technology enhances the clarity of HDR video playback and outdoor screen reading. The entire series supports Dolby Vision and HDR Vivid dual-authoritative displays.

Furthermore, the Honor Magic 6 series is the first to implement domestic full-domain low-power LTPO display technology, supporting ultra-low refresh rates down to 1Hz at any brightness level. This technology achieves a balance between low power consumption and smooth global performance.
