Honor Magic 6 To Feature Porsche Design

The upcoming Honor Magic 6 series, is set to feature a new Porsche design. This addition marks a significant step in the series’ design evolution, positioning it alongside Huawei’s Mate series in terms of high-end design and features. Chinese famous leaker DCS on Weibo has unveiled the story.

Bold Design Choices in Honor Magic 6 Series

The Honor Magic 6 series is reported to have a bold design, featuring a centrally placed dual-hole quad-curved screen. Both the standard and Pro versions will have a circular camera Deco, incorporating the lens arrangement from the Magic 5 and the edge-cutting design of the Huawei Mate X5. The “super large cup” model of the Honor Magic 6 will directly adopt a square set circle + edge cutting, adding a new Porsche design to its lineup.

Huawei’s Choice of Porsche Design

Huawei first introduced the RS Porsche design with its Mate 9 series, representing the highest-end model at the time. This design continued with the Mate 10 RS, Huawei Mate RS, Mate 20 RS, Mate 30 RS, Mate 40 RS, and Mate 50 RS Porsche designs. However, in the Mate 60 series, Huawei replaced the RS Porsche design with a new ultra-high-end brand, ULTIMATE DESIGN “Extraordinary Master,” and the Mate60 RS Extraordinary Master became its first model.

Honor Magic Series and High-End Design

The Honor Magic series has previously released models similar to Huawei’s RS Porsche design, known as the Ultimate Edition, also targeting the ultra-high-end market. It remains to be seen what the new “Porsche design” of the Magic6 will entail.

Upcoming Launch Event and Features

The Honor Magic 6 is expected to be officially released in January, featuring self-developed satellite communication technology, which is said to be stronger than Huawei’s latest solution. It will also support external domestic chips and potentially offer two-way communication or calling.

This announcement about the Honor Magic6 series adds to the anticipation for its release, promising a combination of innovative design and cutting-edge technology. The series seems poised to offer a unique blend of aesthetics and functionality, further solidifying Honor’s position in the high-end smartphone market.
