 Honor CEO Zhao Ming announced that Honor Magic V3 will be launched soon. This new product will challenge the new heights of thinness and lightness of foldable screens.

Zhao Ming said that 12 months have passed since the release of Honor Magic V2, and its record of being thin and light has not been broken so far, and only Honor can surpass it.

In July last year, the Honor Magic V2 had a folded thickness of only 9.9mm, an unfolded thickness of 4.7mm, and a weight of 231g. It broke the boundary between candy-bar phones and folding screens, because when closed, it was almost the thickness and weight of a candy-bar phone.

It is reported that the screen, PU material, hinge, cooling system, antenna, Type-C interface, fingerprint recognition, speakers and other components used in Honor Magic V2 are the thinnest. When each item is done to the extreme, Magic V2 is created.

After a year, Honor Magic V3 is about to debut. According to bloggers, Honor Magic V3 is also less than 10mm and weighs less than 230g. This will be the lightest and thinnest folding screen in the industry.

At present, this new product has obtained network access permission. It is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen3 platform, supports satellite communications, and its model is FCP-AN10.
