Honor Magic8 Pro Air Camera Specs Unveiled

The upcoming Honor Magic8 Pro Air is scheduled for an official launch on January 19. As part of the lead-up to the launch, the company has started sharing teasers that focus on the phone’s sleek and lightweight design. In addition, the newest information shared by the company gives us a closer look at the camera specifications, offering insight into its photography capabilities.

Honor has confirmed that its upcoming flagship smartphone will come equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, which uses a 1/1.3-inch sensor for capturing high-quality images. Alongside this the phone will feature a 64MP periscope telephoto lens for improved zoom performance. Tipster UniverseIce provided more information indicating that the main camera will come with an f/1.6 aperture and a 23mm equivalent focal length enhancing its overall photography capabilities.

The Magic8 Pro Air is said to come with a periscope telephoto camera that will have an f/2.6 aperture. This lens will have a focal length equivalent to 74mm which helps in capturing distant subjects more clearly. The camera will support 3.2x optical zoom which keeps the picture clear, and can digitally zoom up to 100x for even more detail from a distance. In addition to this, the phone will reportedly include a third camera on the back, which will be a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens. This ultrawide camera will have an f/2.2 aperture and a 16mm equivalent focal length, making it perfect for wide-angle shots such as landscapes, cityscapes, or group photos.

According to earlier reports and rumors, the Magic8 Pro Air is expected to come with a 6.3-inch AMOLED display, which should deliver bright and vibrant visuals. Under the hood it will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 processor designed to handle demanding tasks efficiently and make the phone fast and smooth for games, apps, and multitasking. On the storage side, the device may offer up to 1TB of space, which is more than enough to store a large number of photos, videos, apps, and other data.
