Honor MagicOS 8.0 Public Beta Rollout Plan Is Here

Honor held a conference on January 10th to unveil the new Honor MagicOS 8.0 operating system and announce its developer conference. Following the event, it was reported that a digital blogger revealed the public beta program for the Honor MagicOS 8.0 upgrade. The rollout plan for the update is as follows:

Honor MagicOS 8.0 Release Plan

  • In January, the update will be pushed to Honor Magic5 Ultimate Edition, Magic5 Pro, Magic5, Magic4 Ultimate Edition, Magic4 Pro, and Magic 4.
  • In February, the update will reach Honor Magic V2 Ultimate Edition, Magic V2, Magic Vs2, Magic Vs Ultimate Edition, Magic Vs, Magic V, V Purse, Magic3 Ultimate Edition, Magic3 Pro, Magic3, Honor 100 Pro, 100, and Honor 90GT.
  • In March, Honor 90 Pro, 90, Honor 80 Pro Straight Screen Edition, Honor 80 Pro, Honor 80GT, and Honor 80 will receive the update.
  • In April, the update will be available for Honor 70 Pro+, 70Pro, 70, Honor 60 Pro, 60, Honor 50 Pro, and 50.
  • In May, Honor X50 GT, X50 Pro, X50, Honor X40 GT Wide Speed Edition, X40 GT, X50i+, and Honor X50 will get the update.

MagicOS 8.0 Cross-Device Communication

Honor MagicOS 8.0 introduces a new interactive experience called “AnyDoor,” which allows phones to seamlessly integrate services across different apps and devices based on intent recognition. This feature is part of Honor’s new attempt at human-computer interaction in the AI era, aiming to simplify cross-app operations and provide users with a more effortless and direct experience.

The announcement of the Honor MagicOS 8.0 upgrade public beta program demonstrates Honor’s commitment to enhancing user experience and keeping up with technological advancements in the smartphone industry.
