Honor Robot Phone is scheduled for release on August 12th: Han Han appointed as Honor Imaging Innovator

Fast Technology reported that Honor officially announced that renowned writer, director, and race car driver Han Han has been appointed as “Honor Image Creator.” Han Han, with his unconventional imagination, continues to break through his own limitations and redefine roles in different fields.

This spirit of constantly pushing boundaries aligns perfectly with Honor Imaging’s pursuit of exploration and innovation. The significance of technology lies in bridging the gap between creation and the public, making free expression readily accessible. This collaboration between Honor and Han Han will help every creator transform their imagination into tangible images.

It is reported that the Honor Robot Phone, which focuses on film industry-grade imaging capabilities, will be officially released on August 12. More highlights of the collaboration between the two companies in the imaging field will be revealed at the launch event.

The imaging system of the Honor Robot Phone was jointly developed by Honor and ARRI, aiming to propel the mobile imaging industry into a new stage of film industrialization. The official statement indicates that, based on the underlying logic of “Light as the foundation, Intelligence as the height,” Honor has built a complete “chip-device-cloud” full-domain imaging engine.

On the chip side, it features a self-developed native AISP, which fully reconstructs the image processing pipeline, providing strong computing power support for image quality improvement; on the terminal side, it features a self-developed industry’s smallest titanium alloy three-axis gimbal, combined with a complete set of professional optical and real-time algorithm matrices, to achieve deep integration and synergy of software and hardware.

In the cloud, focusing on improving cloud image quality and upgrading the image agent ecosystem, we rely on RAW domain image quality enhancement and image agent creative assistant to break through the limitations of edge computing power and comprehensively cover the entire process of shooting, optimization and creative generation.

Arri contributed a century of accumulated color science, including LogC3 encoding, multiple official image style presets, and AWG3 wide color gamut, enabling mobile devices to use the professional film production workflow commonly used in Hollywood blockbusters for the first time.

ARRI emphasized that the collaboration between Honor and ARRI is not a simple brand co-branding, but rather the first time that professional film industry color standards have been fully implemented on consumer-grade mobile phones, bringing truly professional-grade color performance and creative experience to mobile image creation.
