Huawei Enjoy 70S hands-on: Same koala rear camera as P60, familiar Snapdragon chip

Huawei Enjoy 70S will be launched for pre-sale at 10:08 on May 28. Currently, some offline Huawei authorized stores and digital bloggers have unboxed and tried out the Enjoy 70S.

In terms of ID design, the appearance of the new phone is almost the same as Huawei Enjoy 70. The rear camera module continues the Koala module design of Huawei P60, and is available in three colors: Ice Blue, Snow White, and Gold Black.

Many people are concerned about the processor parameters of Huawei Enjoy 70S. According to the exposed system interface, the new phone uses the Snapdragon 680 processor, the same as Huawei Enjoy 70 Pro.

The Snapdragon 680 uses a 6nm process, and its CPU architecture includes 4*Kryo 265 2.4GHz large cores + 4*Kryo 265 small cores, and integrates the Adreno 610 GPU.

In addition, the models currently exposed all have 8GB of RAM, and it is not yet certain whether there will be a version with larger memory.

The front of the phone uses a 6.75-inch water drop screen, supports 90Hz refresh rate, has a resolution of 1600*720, and supports AOD screen display.

In other aspects, Huawei Enjoy 70S has a built-in 6000mAh battery, supports 22.5W fast charging, has a rear 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens, an 8-megapixel front camera, and is pre-installed with Hongmeng HarmonyOS 4.2 system.

The new phone retains the Enjoy X button. Pressing it will display a nine-square grid of commonly used apps. Double-clicking or long-pressing it will directly open apps such as ride-hailing and payment codes, flashlights, calling designated contacts, etc.

Compared with Enjoy 70, Enjoy 70S has upgraded the screen refresh rate, the factory system is equipped with the latest Hongmeng OS 4.2, and the processor has been replaced with Snapdragon.

According to a digital blogger, the Enjoy 70S is also the first phone in the Huawei Enjoy series to obtain the Swiss SGS eye protection certification.
