Huawei nova 16 series launches three phones simultaneously: gradient body design rivals Pura 90

Huawei is expected to officially release the nova 16 series of new products in the first half of the year.

According to current leaks, the nova 16 series will undergo significant adjustments in appearance design and product architecture, aiming to fully align with high-end flagship series.

The nova 16 series will adopt a brand-new gradient color process, on par with the imaging flagship Pura 90 series. At the same time, Huawei has restructured its product series, removing the original Ultra version and adding the Pro Max model instead.

In April of this year, Huawei’s flagship imaging phone, the Pura 90 series, garnered attention for its gradient design. Among them, the Orange Ocean color scheme naturally blends warm orange and deep sea blue, like the sunset over the sea reflected on a glass back panel, making it highly expressive.

The nova 16 series will continue this gradient aesthetic logic, with the new series consisting of a standard version, a Pro version, and a Pro Max version. This naming convention is highly consistent with the Pura 90 series, making the product hierarchy within the Huawei brand clearer and more intuitive.

In terms of screen quality, the Huawei nova 16 series is expected to be equipped with a 6.84-inch 1.5K LTPO high-end screen. This screen not only provides a delicate display effect, but also effectively balances smoothness and power saving through dynamic refresh rate technology.

In terms of core configuration, the new phone will be equipped with the highly anticipated Kirin 9 series flagship chip. This means that the performance of the nova series will see a qualitative leap, and with the pre-installed HarmonyOS 6.1 system, the overall operating experience will be even smoother.

Battery life is another major highlight of this series. Leaks suggest that its battery capacity will be increased to around 7000mAh. This large-capacity battery, combined with the underlying optimizations of the HarmonyOS system, is expected to significantly alleviate users’ battery anxiety, making it a new generation of long-lasting powerhouse.
