A short while back, the Honor Magic8 Pro Air was spotted on Geekbench, giving us a first look at some of its performance details. However, there is another smartphone that has recently been tested on Geekbench as well. This new device is from the brand Infinix and carries the model number X6891. Rumors suggest that this phone could be the upcoming Infinix GT 50 Pro.
The upcoming Infinix GT 50 Pro appears to be the successor to the GT 30 Pro which was released in the middle of last year around May or June. Some people think Infinix might be skipping the number 40 in the model name because in certain Asian cultures, the number 4 is associated with bad luck, a superstition called tetraphobia. In recent Geekbench 6.3 tests for Android, the GT 50 Pro achieved a single core score of 1,612 and a multi core score of 6,686 showing its performance capabilities.
The Infinix GT 50 Pro is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor. The prototype version that appeared on Geekbench was equipped with 12GB of RAM which should allow it to perform well in both gaming and everyday tasks. In terms of software, the GT 50 Pro will ship with Android 16 pre installed giving users the latest features and updates from Google right from the start. We will keep you updated when more details are available.
