Samsung Confirms No Galaxy S26 Edge or S26 Pro Models

As Samsung prepares to officially launch its highly anticipated Galaxy S26 series, there is still considerable curiosity and speculation among consumers and tech enthusiasts regarding the new models. Questions have arisen about whether the Galaxy S26 Edge will replace the Galaxy S26 Plus, and whether the Galaxy S26 Pro will take over from the standard Galaxy S26. Early rumors had already indicated that neither of these replacements was expected, and the latest leak, which provides additional insights into the series, appears to confirm those initial reports. This suggests that Samsung’s upcoming flagship series will maintain structure similar to the current generation without introducing new Edge or Pro variants as substitutes.

According to a PDF document outlining promotional details, published by Samsung Colombia, the upcoming Galaxy S26 series, which is set to be officially revealed at this year’s Galaxy S26 Unpacked event, will include the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra models. Notably there is no indication that Samsung plans to include Pro or Edge variants in this series.

This does not necessarily mean that the two devices have been permanently canceled or removed from Samsung’s plans. There remains a possibility that the Galaxy S26 Edge in particular could see a delayed launch at some point in the future even if it does not appear alongside the main Galaxy S26 lineup at the initial launch. For now, however all current information, industry reports and leaks suggest that Samsung is moving away from the Edge series and may be discontinuing it entirely at least for this generation of devices.
